Longines Avigation Watch Type A-7

Longines is celebrating their 180th anniversary this year and introduced the Avigation Mono-Pusher Chronograph Type A-7. This luxury timepiece is inspired by the military aviation watches from the 1930s.

During that decade the U.S. Army requested the creation of a watch large enough for aviators to easily read and manipulate. The result was the Type A-7 timepiece, which has now given rise to an updated version, with the added term "Avigation" - a combination of "aviation" and "navigation".

The Longines Avigation Watch Type A-7 is priced at €3,410 (£3,090).
