MCIII Champagne by Moët & Chandon

The house of Moët & Chandon has unveiled a completely new ultra-luxury champagne. Dubbed MCIII, the prestige cuvée embodies the strength of several vintage wines matured in three different universes: metal, wood and glass.

The ultra-premium MCIII contains 37% of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from 2003, fermented and aged in stainless steel vats. According to Moët & Chandon, "This layer adds an intense fruity wine dimension evoking the sophisticated and bright sense of summertime". The second blend component consists of "Grand Vintage" wines hailing from 1998, 2000 and 2002 partially aged in large oak casks and then preserved in stainless steel vats. The last component is from the bottled Grand Vintage Collection champagnes dating from the years 1993, 1998 and 1999.

T
his wine has 10 years of assemblage and aging in the cellar.

Priced at $450 per bottle, MCIII is available directly from the Moët & Chandon maison.
